Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $220,000! (#800)

Monday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 ( over three years ago!)...$226,261.30  from an original $75!   
They've broken the $200,000 level! Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $2000, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $10,000+ a week!
It's 800 (EIGHT HUNDRED) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 2600 times the original bill...
Isn't that just pitiful?
But then, what can you expect from Mara Feldman-Fox, 
someone with only a bachelor's degree in accounting and 
NO other accreditation, whatsoever?
I hope for her sake Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! 
But I doubt it... ;-)

Mara Feldman-Fox Wrong AGAIN! & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $210,000! (#799)

It seems Mara's pissed off other condo clients besides me, as shown in this recent letter to Mark Pearlstein's Condo Advisor column in the Chicago Tribune, because if it isn't her (unlikely), it's somebody who thinks (in the loosest definition of the word) just like her...

Our board is reluctant to provide monthly balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements to owners, even after repeated requests.
They contend this is not a requirement of the law but is a courtesy to unit owners when they are requested.
I have used the provisions of Section 19 of the Condominium Act to obtain these monthly financial statements in the past.
The board is misguided.
Delivering information properly requested under Section 19 is a legal obligation and not a courtesy to unit owners.
Although the association does not have a profit-and-loss statement, the board should produce monthly financial statements that are computer generated.
Boards that operate under this type of secrecy ultimately generate ill will from their ownership.

Like the Claremont Condos' board?

Now, the board wants to impose stringent requirements for requests for financial information.
They plan to charge a $75-per-hour fee to research the request, a fee for copying and charges for travel time and mileage.
I contend that these stipulations are outrageous.
What options do I have?
The charges are bogus, and your ultimate remedy is a lawsuit to recover attorneys' fees if the board insists upon imposing these requirements.
There is no basis for a charge to research the requests nor should there be charges for travel time and mileage.

So Mara Feldman-Fox is proven wrong yet again.

Did Eddie Foss Endanger Two Toddlers? & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $210,000! (#796)

Since October 15th, when heat was supposed to be turned on, until October 23rd, there was no heat at Claremont Condos.
Why?
I sent an e-mail on October 7th to Fox Management & the Board...
Workers in '58 2E Claremont Using Common Area CircuitBreaker Box (and Electricity)
First, they jacked into '60 2E's (MA's) circuit box this morning, cutting off his kitchen electricity (and other circuits).
Now they've hacked the Claremont Condo Common Area circuit box, disconnecting...what?
The boiler?
The heating system?
The doorbells?
The exterior lights?
The hallway lights?
???
Considering '58 2E's electricity is on, why aren't they using that?
And why are we paying for their heavy-equipment usage?
Did Mara Feldman-Fox give the '58 2E workers permission to do this?
Board Member / art therapist Eddie Foss is the only on-site person with keys to the boiler room, (where the condo's heating system is) and obviously, nothing was done to check or reset the boiler which obviously was knocked off-line by the '58 2E workers' disrupting the builing's power!
With near-freezing temperatures outdoors at night, the ambient temperature in the building was less than 60 degrees since the heating system was non-functional!
One family here has two under-six-month old toddlers who were exposed to several nights in a row of below 60 degree temperatures due to Eddie Foss' negligence!
Monday, a plumber finally arrived to reset the boiler.
I only pray the kids are alright despite Eddie Foss' stupidity.

Late Assessment, NO Board Minutes & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $210,000! (#794-795)

We finally received the assessment bill, late as usual. (postmarked Oct. 20th, received Oct. 21st)
Sadly, last month's on-time mailing was apparently an aberration.
However, the Board Meeting Minutes from September 14th, which should have been included in the September Assessment mailing (and weren't) still haven't been sent!
The meeting was on September 14th, and we won't see the Minutes until November?
Is art therapist Eddie Foss, who serves as the Board's secretary so incompetent that he can't produce a one-page document in over a month and a half?
It can't be due to work-related issues, since it appears he's either underemployed or unemployed.
So what is the EDiot hiding?
