Mara Feldman-Fox = Michelle Bachmann? & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $250,000! (#811)

We received the assessments yesterday.
Yes, yesterday...the 15th!
After we picked our jaws up from the floor we noticed two items of note.
A bare-bones budget for 2012, and, finally, the Minutes from the September 14th meeting!
We'll get to the many inaccuracies in a future post, but the main thing that struck us was that there was no mention of discussion of M's ongoing proposal to rent the '58 basement space for $150 a month that art therapist / Board member Eddie Foss currently rents for (supposedly) $30 a month (you read that right, $30 a month!)
The Board's servant, unlicensed property manager Mara Feldman-Fox had specifically stated that the matter would be discussed in a letter to us.

We sent an e-mail to Mara:
According to the Minutes we finally received (months late) we note you did not keep your word as stated in your correspondence of Sept. 14th, 2011...
to wit:
"The offer to rent the '58 basement will be discussed at the Board of Directors meeting scheduled for tonight, September 14th, 2011."
In point of fact, no mention of the matter is included in the Minutes. Therefore, no discussion occured.
This has been noted, logged, and will be presented to the appropriate licensing authorities, along with all relevant materials pertaining to the matter and your ongoing role in it.
And, of course, the corrected Minutes I'll be posting and distributing tomorrow will mention it, and your failure...
There's much more to come, but it'll be included in the followup to the mailing of assessment payment, as usual.
Note: lack of response will be taken as tacit consent and acknowledgment that information presented herein is true and accurate.
Response is strictly voluntary, and cannot be billed under any circumstances.

This morning we received the following screed...
The lack of response is not to be taken as tacit consent and acknowledgment that information presented herein is true and accurate.
The emphasis is hers, not mine.
Never one to back down from an argument, I responded...
If it's good enough for CBS, NBC, ABC, Associated Press, et al, It's good enough for me...and you!
The lack of response WILL be taken as tacit consent and acknowlegment that the information presented herein is true and accurate.
The only way it isn't is if you go on the record and present proof it isn't.
As the saying goes.."You ain't the boss of me".
BTW, I note you didn't address the point of the note...that you didn't tell the truth.
How very Republican of you.
Is Mara Feldman-Fox the new Michelle Bachmann?
Seems like it to me!

Wednesday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 ( over three years ago!)...$252,528.10 from an original $75!
They've broken the $250,000 level! Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $2500, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $12,500+ a week!
It's over 800 (EIGHT HUNDRED) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 2600 times the original bill...
Isn't that just pitiful?
But then, what can you expect from Mara Feldman-Fox,
someone with only a bachelor's degree in accounting and
NO other accreditation, whatsoever?
I hope for her sake Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals!
But I doubt it... ;-)
