Bicycle Stolen (3) & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $58,000! (#663)

Since the bicycle was stolen from a still-locked laundry room, and only unit owners and residents have keys, logic dictates that one of them is the thief.
There are four with motive and means.
Tomorrow we'll name the suspects in descending order of probability...
Keep in mind that these are suspects!
Nothing has been proven, or disproven...yet!
  1. Adam Kroshus  Damaged the bike when he placed his oversized dresser/entertainment center in the corner, jamming the bike against the wall. Since he's being billed for repair/replacement, perhaps he thinks by eliminating the evidence, he can avoid paying.  He had already disposed of the dresser, so getting rid of the other part of his incompetent handling of the situation seems like an obvious move.
  2. Carol Krengelis  Was pissed-off when I put my bike where she kept hers in the '58 laundry room/storage space.  I graciously moved my bike so she could have the space back (though I was under no obligation to do so), yet her irrational anger persisted.  Has since screamed at me in public several times without provocation.  Is her sanity going, if not already gone?
  3. Diego Arce  Seems easily manipulated, as evidenced by his voting against his (and the condo's) best financial interests, several times.  Did someone trick him into doing the dirty deed?  And is that someone...
  4. Eddie Foss  I don't think he would have the guts to do it himself, seems to prefer to use others as his cats-paws.  With his training in psychotherapy, he has the skills to manipulate the weak-minded.  I would classify anyone who votes against their own fiscal self-interests, like the other Board members, as weak-minded.
Who's guilty? Who's innocent?
We'll keep you updated.

Wednesday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (almost three years ago!)...$58,547.54 from an original $75!
They've broken the $58,000 level!
Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $580, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $2850+ a week! That's over thirty-six times the amount they originally owed!
It's over 650 (SIX HUNDRED FIFTY) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 670 times the original bill...
Is that just pitiful, or what?
I hope for her sake that Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! ;-)

Kroshus FINALLY Keeps His Word & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $48,000! (#645)

Adam Kroshus finally disposed of his dresser in the basement, three months after his promised disposal date of Dec, 27th, 2010!
He also had to tip the guys from the Salvation Army because the thing was so big!
As we pointed out...
an item we didn't bring up in the first round, but which the EDiot revised in the new minutes!
Original:
Clutter: Adam (Kroshus) to have large dresser moved out of '58 Basement Dec 27, 2010.
Revised:
Clutter: Adam (Kroshus) to have large dresser moved out of '58 basement.
Note the date was eliminated when Kroshus failed to remove the dresser (In fact, as of today, March 1st, 2011, it's still there!)
It's no wonder Kroshus and the EDiot are BFFs! They share the same relationship to the truth!

Thursday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (almost three years ago!)...$48,946.78 from an original $75!
They've broken the $48,000 level!
Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $480, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $2400+ a week! That's over twenty-seven times the amount they originally owed!
It's over 600 (SIX HUNDRED) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 550 times the original bill...
Is that just pitiful, or what?
I hope for her sake that Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! ;-)

The Minutes & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $3,200! (#371)

In the minutes (send with the assessment) secretary / art therapist Eddie Foss claimed...
"Vanity sink found in boiler room. Will discard."
"Found"?
Since Eddie has the ONLY key to the boiler room, and as the sink belongs to Eddie's bff, Adam Kroshus, how was it..."found"?
Want proof?
Note Kroshus' sale listing for his unit sez  "...(new) pedestal sink in bathroom."
And, I was on-site a couple of weeks ago, when workmen off-loaded kitchen and bathroom elements with Kroshus' name on ALL the boxes...
The sink that was replaced wasn't put out with the garbage, although other replaced elements were tossed out.
And, no one else has done renovations recently...
"Found"?
Really, Eddie.
You can do better than that.

My favorite line in the ad:
"Good condo association that takes care of issues immediately."
Maybe for their bffs, and each other. Certainly not for the rest of us...

Note: as before, "no response" will be taken as tacit agreement with accuracy of information as written, and will be posted as "though offered the opportunity before posting, no correction by Fox or the Board".

I'll be keeping an eye on this...and on you.

Tuesday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (over a year ago, now!)...$3,220.54 from an original $75!
They've broken the $3,200 level!
Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $32, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $160+ a week! That's more than the amount they originally owed!
It's over 350 (THREE HUNDRED FIFTY) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 40 times the original bill...
Is that just pitiful, or what?
I hope for her sake that Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! ;-)
Personally, I think she's a terrible role model for her kids, demonstrating financial irresponsibility (not to mention arrogant stupidity) as being a good thing!

Plumbing Problems (2) & Fox Management Group (#215)

My response to yesterday's e-mail exchange...
Regrettably, because of the (deliberate?) inaccessibility of the meeting location (over a mile distant from the condo) neither M nor I will attend.
We will eagerly await the meeting minutes, and hope we receive them, as incomplete and grammatically-incorrect as they usually are, sometime before Labor Day (two to three months being the turnaround for the 1/2 to 2/3 page document after the past few meetings).

We know you will wisely take action on the now officially pre-existing plumbing condition before any major damage, either to the condo itself or our unit, occurs.

And again, since the Better Business Bureau found my billing to be legal and valid, the BBB's opinion overrides the Board's.
(The Board members each have a copy of the BBB complaint, your...response...and the decision, so they know I speak the truth.)

Mara's response...
The meeting location is neither deliberate or inaccessible. Public transportation is easily available to and from the location. However, you and M can always host a meeting at your home if so desired.
As to the BBB, they did not claim that your invoice was valid. They did state that they are not interested in pursuing the issue and that if you are, you should go through the small claims court.
Mara Fox

My response...
All three of the Board members have large enough apartments to accomodate meetings.
Previous Board members Tara and Judy did so, regularly.
(In fact, Kroshus listed his unit, on the same line as Krengelis & Diego Arce, as a two-bedroom, so we KNOW those units are large enough!)
And of course, Eddie's $10 a month '58 basement living space, formerly the Condo's Party Room (and also on the same line as Krengelis, Kroshus, & Diego Arce), is certainly large enough! It's over 200 square feet, and, it has an adjacent kitchen area!
So that covers all three Board members!
Why the present Board members seem unable or afraid to host the meetings is open to speculation (and people DO speculate about that, and many other things...)
The fact that meetings are held off-site, over a mile away, is an indication you DON'T want unit owners attending.
Looking over the meeting minutes back to 2000, Board meetings used to be held on Sunday evenings, and turnout was quite good!
Whatever happened to THAT idea?
Or was it dropped BECAUSE the turnout was so good?

As to the bill...
The BBB's response...(and I quote)
"The Bureau does not handle matters of collection as we are not licensed in the State of Illinois to be a collection agency.
We suggest (BB) contact a private collection agency..."
NO mention of "small claims court." ;-)
And, obviously, the BBB considered it a billing situation. (ie; a legitimate attempt to collect payment for work performed.) otherwise they wouldn't RECOMMEND a course of action!
You DID read their response, didn't you?
(If you didn't, one of the Board members can forward it to you. They all have copies.)
Or did you lose it, the way you claimed in your response that you lost the initial bill?
More fun tomorrow!

Tuesday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008(almost a year ago)...$683.28, from an original $75!
Note; now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $6, it's really starting to mount up, at a rate of $30+ a week!
And, it's over 200 (two hundred) late charges, and almost a full year...
I hope Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! ;-)
