Fox's Failure (Again), The ED-iot Strikes (#0al) & Fox Management Group (#122)

You may note that this is posted on Saturday, not Friday.
I held off because I hoped Fox Management would have sent the assessment bill for March by now, especially since the month ends next Saturday, and you'd think they'd want to receive payment on time.
You'd think that, but you'd probably be wrong.

They failed to do what they were required to do.
(BTW, "failed" is a word frequently associated with Mara Fox-Feldman.)

I believe Mara Fox is indulging in a technique to boost income used by banks and credit card companies...notably sending the bill out late so that it's received late, and thus paid late.
Then, she can impose a $25 late fee on the payee, thus boosting her coffers without another increase in assessments (which has failed miserably, as many units here are now behind on their assessment payments!)

She tried this technique before, around this time last year, with the following results...
M contacted Fox Management Group about a billing error...
...surprised to see a "late charge" (INV #1770) for $25. The previous statement dated 2/19/08 did not include the $25 late fee. However, a $25 fee was listed on the new 3/22/08 statement. What month and/or invoice number and dollar amount was the $25 late fee for? According to our USPS Delivery Confirmation records, all of our assessment payments (including the January, February, and March 2008 assessments) were received by you on or before the first of the month.
Sincerely,
M
Fox responded...
M:
It was a billing error, the late fee has been removed. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Mara

We'll let you know if she tries it again.

In other news.
The cowardly ED-iot has been kept at bay by the use of a frame around the flyer posted on the unit door.
No longer can he safely remove my posters.
His impotent rage is palpable in person.
and...
Friday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill...$263.16, from an original $75!
But note, now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $2, it's really starting to mount up, at a rate of $8+ a week (since there's a holiday this week and I only bill on workdays)!
