REVISED Minutes (2) & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $40,000! (#627)

As I poined out Friday, we received a REVISED Minutes from the Dec. 12th Board meeting along with the woefully-late assessment notices.
Here's an example of the "revisions"...

The original Minutes included this...
Correspondence-(I wrote down this word, but don't know why.)
(I footnoted: Is Secretary /Art Therapist Eddie going senile? Seems likely.)
Now, there's no mention of it.

Finances: -$1480 Reserve Fund (Should this be $14,080?)
(I footnoted: Well, with Treasurer / Financial Aid Manager Diego Arce and President / Former Treasurer / Business Analyst Carol Krengelis sitting right there, neither could provide the information?
Doesn't say much for their knowledge of the condo's fiscal status, does it?)
Now it reads...
Finances-$3,700 Operating Fund
(Blank)-$14,080 Reserve Fund

Tomorrow...an item we didn't bring up in the first round, but which the EDiot revised in the new minutes!

Monday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (over two years ago!)...$40,843.60 from an original $75!
They've broken the $40,000 level!
Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $400, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $2000+ a week! That's over twenty-four times the amount they originally owed!
It's over 600 (SIX HUNDRED) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 400 times the original bill...
Is that just pitiful, or what?
I hope for her sake that Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! ;-)

Late Assessment Notices (5) REVISED Minutes & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $40,000! (#626)

We finally received the assessment billing...along with a "revised" minutes from the last meeting!
I'll be detailing the differences between the two starting Monday. (It'll take a couple of days)

BTW, the postmark on the envelope is Feb 22nd, two days after the billing was supposed to be here!
Considering
  1. there are only 28 days in February
  2. The 1st of March (when the payment is legally due) is Tuesday...and
  3. many of our upstanding citizens won't even mail the payment until Monday, so no matter what, it won't arrive by Tuesday, creating a self-fulfilling late fee.
How much do you want to bet most of them get hit with a "late fee"? (Not us, BTW. We sent ours Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation yesterday, without waiting for the invoice!)
Fox Management Group has become famous for this sort of "accidental" late delivery, which mimics credit card companies' deliberate late mailings in order to create late fees for additional revenue!

Friday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (over two years ago!)...$40,439.21 from an original $75!
I hope for her sake that Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! ;-)

New Washing Machine! & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $36,000! (#618)

Coincidence or not?
I posted early on February 13th that the '60 building of Claremont Condos had been without a washing machine for 30 days and gave the details of the situation.
This morning, a new washing machine was delivered and installed.
Coincidence?
You could say that the washing machine was ordered several days ago, or even a week, and was just delivered, purely by coincidence, today.
Except that...
1) the blog entry was posted at 12:45am on Feb 13th!
2) It was accessed before 2pm on Feb 13th from a "familiar" IP!
3) The order was placed at 3:19pm on Feb 13th for NEXT DAY DELIVERY, according to the receipt left (along with the manual) with the washing machine in the Laundry Room!
Coincidence?
Interpret as you will!

Monday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (over two years ago!)...$37,344.95 from an original $75!
They've broken the $37,000 level!

NO New Washing Machine (30) & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $36,000! (#617)

This is a little late due to last-minute Valentine's Day orders to our online stores.
Busy, busy, busy!

One thing we haven't told you...
Since we know the Board and Fox Management monitor this blog (their IPs are traceable thru Google Analytics) we deliberately didn't present information we learned on January 12th about a problem affecting the condo, to see how long it would take them to
1) figure it out and
2) solve it.
As of January 12th, the washing machine in the Laundry Room of '60 had been broken, so four out of seven units had no washing machine. (The other three units are two-bedroom units with in-unit machines)
Now, since Board member / art therapist Eddie Foss lives in '60, you'd think the machine would be replaced quickly.
Nope.
In point of fact, the EDiot was totally-unaware of the problem until January 27th, when I saw him fiddling with the machine's controls in the middle of the afternoon.
(He tends to do his laundry in the '58 Laundry Room and apparently had to try the '60 one since the '58 was in use by one of their residents.)
So, at that point, you'd think a new machine would be installed in a day or so!
Nope.
As of today, February 13th, there's still no functioning washing machine in '60!
(BTW, the delay can't be attributed to the Blizzard of 2011!
That didn't hit until the night of Jan 31st!
The EDiot could've ordered the washing machine and had it delivered well before the storm hit, from any of several local vendors Claremont has used previously!)
Question now is...why didn't he do so...and why hasn't he done so since?
Could it be there's no money in the condo reserves for such an outlay?
Considering we've just suffered an unannounced assessment increase, and Fox and the EDiot proclaimed in the minutes that there were no delinquent assessments, where's the money?
More importantly, where's the new washing machine?

Speaking of money...
Friday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (over two years ago!)...$36,975.20 from an original $75!
