Late Assessment Notices (5) REVISED Minutes & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $40,000! (#626)

We finally received the assessment billing...along with a "revised" minutes from the last meeting!
I'll be detailing the differences between the two starting Monday. (It'll take a couple of days)

BTW, the postmark on the envelope is Feb 22nd, two days after the billing was supposed to be here!
Considering
  1. there are only 28 days in February
  2. The 1st of March (when the payment is legally due) is Tuesday...and
  3. many of our upstanding citizens won't even mail the payment until Monday, so no matter what, it won't arrive by Tuesday, creating a self-fulfilling late fee.
How much do you want to bet most of them get hit with a "late fee"? (Not us, BTW. We sent ours Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation yesterday, without waiting for the invoice!)
Fox Management Group has become famous for this sort of "accidental" late delivery, which mimics credit card companies' deliberate late mailings in order to create late fees for additional revenue!

Friday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (over two years ago!)...$40,439.21 from an original $75!
They've broken the $40,000 level!
Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $400, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $2000+ a week! That's over twenty-four times the amount they originally owed!
It's over 600 (SIX HUNDRED) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 400 times the original bill...
Is that just pitiful, or what?
I hope for her sake that Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! ;-)
