NO New Washing Machine (30) & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $36,000! (#617)

This is a little late due to last-minute Valentine's Day orders to our online stores.
Busy, busy, busy!

One thing we haven't told you...
Since we know the Board and Fox Management monitor this blog (their IPs are traceable thru Google Analytics) we deliberately didn't present information we learned on January 12th about a problem affecting the condo, to see how long it would take them to
1) figure it out and
2) solve it.
As of January 12th, the washing machine in the Laundry Room of '60 had been broken, so four out of seven units had no washing machine. (The other three units are two-bedroom units with in-unit machines)
Now, since Board member / art therapist Eddie Foss lives in '60, you'd think the machine would be replaced quickly.
Nope.
In point of fact, the EDiot was totally-unaware of the problem until January 27th, when I saw him fiddling with the machine's controls in the middle of the afternoon.
(He tends to do his laundry in the '58 Laundry Room and apparently had to try the '60 one since the '58 was in use by one of their residents.)
So, at that point, you'd think a new machine would be installed in a day or so!
Nope.
As of today, February 13th, there's still no functioning washing machine in '60!
(BTW, the delay can't be attributed to the Blizzard of 2011!
That didn't hit until the night of Jan 31st!
The EDiot could've ordered the washing machine and had it delivered well before the storm hit, from any of several local vendors Claremont has used previously!)
Question now is...why didn't he do so...and why hasn't he done so since?
Could it be there's no money in the condo reserves for such an outlay?
Considering we've just suffered an unannounced assessment increase, and Fox and the EDiot proclaimed in the minutes that there were no delinquent assessments, where's the money?
More importantly, where's the new washing machine?

Speaking of money...
Friday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (over two years ago!)...$36,975.20 from an original $75!
They've broken the $36,000 level!
Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $350, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $1800+ a week! That's over twenty-four times the amount they originally owed!
It's over 600 (SIX HUNDRED) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 400 times the original bill...
Is that just pitiful, or what?
I hope for her sake that Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! ;-)
