Is a Board Member about to Bail? & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $10,000! (#491)

Will the Board lose another member?
It seems Carol Krengelis is doing some serious renovation in her unit.
Door frames and doors have made their way from her back porch to the area outside the building where scavengers collect stuff.
Plus there are numerous boxes from places like Bed Bath & Beyond that can't be accounted for otherwise.
Is she sprucing up her unit and planning to sell?
The last person to do extensive renovation and try to sell his unit had to abandon the attempt when he couldn't close a deal, even after reducing the price (that was several months ago)!
Maybe the business analyst should analyze her prospects...
But then, this is the person who voted to rent a common element space to fellow Board member Eddie Foss for $10 a month ($120 a year) over renting the same space to a non-Board unit owner for $150 a month ($1,800 a year) a.
The condo association has literally paid for it ever since, even raising assessments instead of accepting the deal (which would've brought in the same amount as the assessment increase)!
So we have a pretty good idea of how good her financial acumen is, eh?

In other news...
Friday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (two years ago!)...$10,581.86 from an original $75!

They've broken the $10,000 level!
Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $100, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $500+ a week! That's more than sextuple the amount they originally owed!
It's OVER 475 (FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 133 times the original bill...
Is that just pitiful, or what?
I hope for her sake that Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! ;-)
Personally, I think she's a terrible role model for her kids, demonstrating financial irresponsibility (not to mention arrogant stupidity) as being a good thing!
