Plugging the Holes (2) & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $3,100! (#370)

Workmen scampered around the building Thursday, plugging holes they believed allowed access to rodents (not counting the ones on the Board).
Whether the strategy succeeds or not remains to be seen...

On Friday, the workmen replaced the door to the boiler room!
An unnecessary expense fueled, no doubt, by Eddie's swelled ego.

We received the assessment on the Saturday, the 20th.
Normally, this would be reason for celebration, as Fox rarely makes the deadline of the 20th of the month.
However, as February has only 28 days, it means we have until Saturday, the 27th to get payment to Fox to avoid the $25 late fee.
Since we couldn't mail anything on Sunday, the 21st, that leaves six days!
We (M and I) will, of course, send it Delivery Confirmation. But, I suspect Mara will try to bill for a late fee as she did two years ago...
...surprised to see a "late charge" (INV #1770) for $25.
The previous statement dated 2/19/08 did not include the $25 late fee.
However, a $25 fee was listed on the new 3/22/08 statement.
What month and/or invoice number and dollar amount was the $25 late fee for?
According to our USPS Delivery Confirmation records, all of our assessment payments (including the January, February, and March 2008 assessments) were received by you on or before the first of the month.
Sincerely, M

M.
"It was a billing error, the late fee has been removed.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
Mara
Monday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (over a year ago, now!)...$3,188.66 from an original $75!
They've broken the $3,000 level!
Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $31, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $155+ a week! That's more than the amount they originally owed!
It's over 350 (THREE HUNDRED FIFTY) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 40 times the original bill...
Is that just pitiful, or what?
I hope for her sake that Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! ;-)
Personally, I think she's a terrible role model for her kids, demonstrating financial irresponsibility (not to mention arrogant stupidity) as being a good thing!
