Board Elections (7), Krazy Krengelis (12) & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $4,200! (#399)

Continuing from yesterday...
M e-mailed...
Dear Mara:

1) The list contains the names of current unit owners and the units they own.
It does not have the unit owners' addresses in cases where the owners rent out, and do not actually live in the units.
Your unwillingness to provide the contact information, as required by law, is acknowledged.

2) Why didn't you simply admit you don't have an answer in the first place, instead of the incessant, childish, "Well, why don't you do it?"?

3) As B has pointed out, you have more than one child, which you've acknowledged.
You also acknowledge your car can, in fact, accomodate two adult passengers (albeit, perhaps, not comfortably, but it is a mile to mile-and-a-half trip, not cross-country).
You apparently just don't want B in your car, or at the meetings, for that matter.
That smacks of unprofessionalism.
In my job, I deal regularly with people I don't particularly care for.
It's called "business".
If you can't separate "business" from "personal", I suggest you find another line of work.

4) I find it odd that the financials aren't available before the election.
It smacks of information being kept from voters that could affect how the vote goes.
There's no reasonable explanation of why the financials couldn't have been reviewed and approved at a January meeting that took place over two weeks after the end of the previous year!
At any rate, I'm still filing with the BBB, as I'm curious to see what explanation you offer them to explain the unwarranted delay.

I thank you for this enlightening look into how you operate.
It's given me much to ponder.

And, of course, I'm not running for the Board this year. Perhaps in 2012...
Oddly enough, there was no early moring response from Mara!

There was a sidebar to the conversation between Mara and myself...
I've been following Mara's attempts to justify herself to Mary.
Things like
"I do indeed have a small car.
Also, the last time I counted, I do not have several children.
My offer to drive you to/from the meeting location is still on the table.  I have room for one, not two."

C'mon.
You don't drive a two-seater.
As a working mother, any vehicle you do drive can accomodate several children or at least three adults.
(In fact, doesn't the Fox family and / or Fox Management have a silver or gray SUV with "Fox-##" license plates? God knows it's parked here often enough.)
You have room for at least two adult passengers if not more.
So the offer is a deliberate attempt to exclude me.
Not surprising.

And, just as a matter of record you've stated that you DO have more than one child!
To quote you in an earlier e-mail: "I named my children (note plural) particular names..."
So, whether it's two or ten, it's MORE than one.

Remember, I archive everything.
So, when one of your earlier statments contradicts a later one, I have the evidence on hand!
To quote Judge Judy:
"You don't have to keep track of the truth.
You do have to keep track of lies."
Mara, you're not very good at keeping track.

Thank you for making my points for me!
Your credibility with M is now at an all-time low.

 Mara responded within minutes...
Thank you for the afternoon laugh.
I would love for you to listen to my children complain about the car that I drive and how inconvenient it is - because I am not available to do car pools.
I do drive a small car.
The SUV that you are referring to is not the car that I drive.
That is the car my husband drives and uses for his transportation.
The license plate "FOX - #" is not on a car owned by any member of my household.
I never said that my car is a two seater - you inferred that.
However, I tend to use my car for storing documents to and from meetings.
The back seat is small and quite combersome for anyone to use.

You referred to the fact that I have "several" children.
Well actually, I have 2 - that is more than several.
And one actually is no longer a child - but an adult.
No need for driving her friends places.
So, please do not state that I am lying when I have not.

So my offer still stands to M - she is welcome to the ride.

But enough with this silliness - have a wonderful evening.

Respectfully,
Mara Fox
I responded once more...
Mara:

"You referred to the fact that I have "several" children.  Well actually, I have 2 - that is more than several."

Actually, that's LESS then "several".
Several is three or more.
If you're going to correct someone, make sure you have your math straight.

And
"So, please do not state that I am lying when I have not." should be...
"So, please do not state that I am lying when I AM not."
For someone who nit-picks about grammar and correct usage, you seem to have problems with it.

Thanks for the laugh,
B
And thus, it ended.
We'll let you know how the "election" turns out (as if you had to guess...)

Had an interesting confrontation with business analyst / Board member Carol J Krengelis last nite.
But, I'll let the email I sent afterward explain...

Carol:

Just curious as to why you just publicly claimed I'm "vandalizing" your bicycle and that I "hate" Board members?

What, exactly, is the "vandalism" you claim has been done?
If there is "vandalism", why haven't you filed a police report?
Do you even known what the definition of "vandalism" is? (We know Eddie doesn't, but I expected better of you.)
And, if there is "vandalism", what makes you think I did it?

Please, I beg you, present your evidence!

Plus, what makes you think I "hate" Board members?

Make your case, kid!
Here's your chance!

Awaiting an intelligent response,
B
Still no response! (Are you surprised?)

In other news...
Friday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 (almost two years ago!)...$4,255.35 from an original $75!
They've broken the $4,200 level!
Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $42, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $210+ a week! That's almost triple the amount they originally owed!
It's almost 400 (FOUR HUNDRED) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is almost 53 times the original bill...
Is that just pitiful, or what?
I hope for her sake that Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals! ;-)
Personally, I think she's a terrible role model for her kids, demonstrating financial irresponsibility (not to mention arrogant stupidity) as being a good thing!
