Buzzing & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $175,000! (#774-775)

I'm not sure if this is a deliberate alteration or a short circuit, but the Front Gate Buzzer, once activated either by the mailperson's key or triggered from within a unit, now continously buzzes for 20-minutes to 30-minutes.
There is also a smell of ozone after about 15 minutes.
This had been going on all week.

The mailperson buzzed all the units' doorbells to warn them about the matter, and, curiously, only I responded, despite the fact that at least one Board member was home at the time. (I saw him shortly after...)
The buzzer has been triggered (and running) during high-traffic periods including the 7-9am rush hour, and 5-7 pm, when unit owner Matt A, his wife, and kids played on the lawn, only several feet from the "buzzing" Buzzer...and just ignored it.

Mind you, I'm used to Chicagoans being concerned only with your own comforts and well-being; like Eddie Foss calling the exterminator in on 7/6/11, and not informing the other, adjacent, unit owners that the rodent-catcher was coming (so he could do a more effective job), and deliberately steering him away from me as if Eddie feared what I could tell the exterminator.
But it's not just the building; all the streetlights along our street were out for a week.
When I finally called 311 to report it, I asked if anyone else had called.
The operator stated "there were no previous reports on the matter".
The streetlights were back on the next night.

I suspect no one else had reported the buzzer to Fox Management, or it'd have been fixed by Friday.
Since the buzzer-locks are embedded in wood door frames, I was concerned a fire might break out, especially as the ozone usually means exposed wiring.

(It was resolved on Friday)

Friday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 ( over three years ago!)...$174,684.61  from an original $75!
Monday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 ( over three years ago!)...$176,431.46  from an original $75!
They've broken the $170,000 level! Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $1750, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $8750+ a week!
It's over 750 (SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 2100 times the original bill...
Isn't that just pitiful?
But then, what can you expect from Mara Feldman-Fox, someone with only a bachelor's degree in accounting and NO other accreditation, whatsoever?
I hope for her sake Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals!
But I doubt it... ;-)
