Board Meeting Minutes & & Fox Management Group Defaults, OWES OVER $270,000! (#821)

To start our analysis of the Board Meeting Minutes, let's look at what's not there!
As we pointed out earlier...
the main thing that struck us was that there was no mention of discussion of M's ongoing proposal to rent the '58 basement space for $150 a month that art therapist / Board member Eddie Foss currently rents for (supposedly) $30 a month (you read that right, $30 a month!)
The Board's servant, unlicensed property manager Mara Feldman-Fox had specifically stated that the matter would be discussed in a letter to us.

We sent an e-mail to Mara:
According to the Minutes we finally received (months late) we note you did not keep your word as stated in your correspondence of Sept. 14th, 2011...
to wit:
"The offer to rent the '58 basement will be discussed at the Board of Directors meeting scheduled for tonight, September 14th, 2011."
In point of fact, no mention of the matter is included in the Minutes. Therefore, no discussion occured.
This has been noted, logged, and will be presented to the appropriate licensing authorities, along with all relevant materials pertaining to the matter and your ongoing role in it.
And, of course, the corrected Minutes I'll be posting and distributing tomorrow will mention it, and your failure...

Treasurer / Financial Aid Manager Diego Arce and President / Business Analyst Carol Krengelis apparently believe that if you don't discuss and vote on the matter, you can't be counted as being fiscally-inept!
Wrong, as usual, Diego Arce and Carol Krengelis.
Failure to even discuss how an offered $150 a month deal is better than the existing $10 a month deal is grossly financially-irresponsible!
Of course, the fact they can't justify turning down the deal when it was first offered, costing the association over $5,000 in potential profits over the past few years, shows just how fiscally-inept these two so-called professionals are!
Anybody wanting to employ either Diego Arce or Carol Krengelis should ask themselves if this is how these two handle their own financial affairs, how would they handle a potential employer's, where they have no personal stake?

Tomorrow, items actually in the Minutes!

Thursday's total for Fox Management Group's still-unpaid bill from July, 2008 ( over three years ago!)...$278,948.12 from an original $75!
They've broken the $270,000 level! Now that the 1% per workday cumulative late fee is over $2700, it's really mounting up, at a rate of $13,500+ a week!
It's over 800 (EIGHT HUNDRED) late charges, and now the amount (with late fees) is over 2600 times the original bill...
Isn't that just pitiful?
But then, what can you expect from Mara Feldman-Fox,
someone with only a bachelor's degree in accounting and
NO other accreditation, whatsoever?
I hope for her sake Mara's better with her library books and DVD rentals!
But I doubt it... ;-)
